RAP THEN VS NOW

Why did i choose rap(HIP HOP) when i had alot of other many subjects to talk about?
From the 90's rap has changed so much from rappers like Tupac to rappers like Lil wayne who makes nosense.
TUPAC

LIL WAYNE

Rappers favorite topics nowdays its money, drugs and sex. In the 90s rap was mainly about real life things the society was going through everyday in other words rappers back then were good story tellers but unfortunately they all retired even the ones still in rap they are getting no support like they used to.
Rappers used to rap about stuff that people were going through in their everyday lives most were black so it was easy to get stuff to write about like racism police brutality or how black people or other minorities were not treated like white people. unlike today where the rappers make songs about how many cars they own girls they had sex with or how much money they have in their bank accounts.

To me the 90s rappers were like the voice of the voiceless but now its like they gave up. Oldschool rocks new school sucks.
In todays rap there is no positive message at all it all sound stupid to me and what is strange is that people like it if you dont agree with me check this link: https://YouTube/watch?v=T6j4f8cHBIM

  3. I definetly think rap has gone down the drain these past few years, but there are still some rappers like Eminem and Big Sean who rap about real life problems. So still, it varies on the genre of rap as well.

  4. Great start. I just wish there was more. What makes so superior? What was the message then vs now? I would love to hear what was great then, and your opinion as to why it all changed now.

    Constructively:
    - Some spelling / grammar issues. (capitalization, “nowdays”, its vs it’s, run-on sentences, etc.)
    - Not enough to mark. Only 1/5 posts published .
    - Post your videos instead of your links.
